THE KID WITH THE
SURPRISING SNEEZE
THE KID WITH THE
SURPRISING SNEEZE
(for music student Michael Madden,
whose fortissimo sneeze inspired this song)
We'll sing a song now, if you please,
About a kid who liked to sneeze,
A sneeze so loud, a sneeze so strong, (SOLO SNEEZE)
In chorus class did not belong.
Sometimes in your life and even sometimes in a song,
You must find the place, place where you belong.
Even after no success and after many tries,
Try again and you'll get a surprise! (SOLO SNEEZE)
Now this kid's sneeze kept getting worse.
The kid was sent to see the nurse.
But yet, this kid kept sneezing still, (SNEEZE)
Until he saw the principal.
The principal, he tried his best,
But this kid's nose was not impressed,
The kid was sent back to his class. (SNEEZE)
The music teacher said "Alas!"
Sometimes in your life and even sometimes in a song,
You must find the place, place where you belong.
Even after no success and after many tries,
Try again and you'll get a surprise! (SNEEZE)
The concert date was getting near.
The teacher got a bright idea.
The teacher found a famous song,
Where one big sneeze might just belong:
One of Haydn's symphonies
Has a place where you could sneeze.
Music teachers are so wise.
Then came the surprise. (SNEEZE)
Though it only was a sneeze,
Still it sounded Viennese.
How they cheered for him that night,
Shouting "Gesundheit!" (SNEEZE)
In your life and in your song,
Find the place where you belong.
Even after many tries,
You'll get a surprise! (SNEEZE)
(MORE SNEEZES)
Gesundheit!
